considuably. Of flower pots which contained. plant's only very few were broken - Many

in such storms, considerably cut ust by

great flow of water from painfall.
Government House Gardens

many of the trees and were uprooted; but the general damage is not-nearly so great
as in the Public fardens. The summer. Crops growing in the vegetable Goeden were almost entirely destroyed by almost-entirely

Trees in Streets and Roads. Only may few trees

branches large and Small broken Eff. Many trees (although few in proportion to the whole number growing) were uprooteds.
Bowrington Compound. This unfortunate plantation has again been emoiduably damaged in the shape of broken and uprooted trees - Gum trees and Dalbergia Sisso- the chief Sufferers.
